Accelerometer Solution

Accelerometers are based on the acceleration of the core components of the advanced MEMS technology, and has a great improvement by structural design, circuit optimization and special applications. Nova can provide sensors whose measurement range is from ±2G to 400G, which can satisfy applications of structure vibration starting from zero frequency seismic to 2000Hz, fatigue and comfort test of high-speed train and auto test and collision experiments. In addition, the wireless program allows the application of the sensor to be a disruptive expansion, but also provides product support for the in-depth development of the Internet of things.

Accelerometer Data Definition

Measurement range (axial):
the spatial coordinate axis as an example of 3 directions(XYZ) or one of the largest acceleration changes in any one direction is the corresponding range. The positive and negative in the range indicates the direction of acceleration.

Frequency:
sensor can receive the fastest frequency of signal change, which is also an important reference value for vibration measurement.

Noisy:
sensor can make a resolution of the minimum noise spectral density, and it is also an important reference value to judge the resolution of the sensor in low frequency micro vibration measurement.

Temperature drift (sensitivity / zero):
it is the percentage between the sensor sensitivity and the change of zero point output during each degrees Celsius  in the working temperature. In general, zero drift has a larger effect on the sensor accuracy.

Nonlinearity:
it is the percentage between the maximum deviation of the calibration curve and the fitting line of the sensor and  the full scale output (Y), which is called the linearity. It is one of the most important performance indexes in the whole parameter of the sensor.

Output signal:
We provide output of 0-5V, 4-20mA, RS232,422 or TCP/IP, wireless communications, and other modes of output. Among them, the ±4V differential output can better reflect the performance of the sensor, which is not affected by the installation location, temperature, time and other factors.

Accelerometer Calibration

All the sensors provided by the factory are provided with factory calibration data.

After the users receive products, they can determine the performance of the product by the +1g and -1g mode in static state.

We recommend that the user return to the original factory to do calibration retest every 2-3 years under normal usage conditions. According to the needs, users can also contact us to arrange calibration.
